The queer sexual liberation movement is a counteractive answer to rigid heteronormative culture and ideals
Next time someone tries to argue that queer culture is too forward/sexual/dirty etc.etc. please remind them that the movement is 100% empowering and in fact a very natural response for a community that has literally been stripped of their freedom to express any form of overt sexuality in the past. The more you suppress something, the harder it comes back. In essence, living in a culture where heteronormative ideals are encouraged (if not imposed) on homosexuals and other queer people, you are in fact fueling the liberation movement. So thank you xoxo.
